[LSdS] Task resolution o Conflict Resolution?

<< < (2/2)

Per quanto riguarda le intenzioni degli autori, questo รจ quel che scriveva qualche anno fa Rob Donoghue su Story Games:

--- Citazione ---[cite]Autore: Rob Donoghue[/cite]Challenge Tracks- The combat system has a lot of options - three core methods of resolution based on desired granularity, lots of optional rules and so on, but the trick of it is that it's not just the combat system.  The method of tracking an interesting challenge, like getting some information on the street, is mechanically identical to winning a fight.  To couch it nerdishly, we're nuts for story and narrative, but we try to support both task and conflict based resolution because we think they're both cool.

Altrove,

--- Citazione ---[cite]Fred Hicks[/cite]
--- Citazione ---[cite]Mike Holmes[/cite]I think that it's ironic that one has to obfuscate the power of the engine in order to make the game more marketable. I believe that you're right. I just wish it weren't true.

Only by wearing a mainstream sheep's clothing can the indie wolf prowl in many a gamer's heart. :)

(Questo commento arriva dal topic [SotC] Why SotC is even cooler than I realized... aperto da John Harper, che contiene una serie di chiarimenti sul sistema molto interessanti (specie dal post 27 in avanti).
