Ciao a tutti! Qui è un po 'su di me. Si prega di perdonare il mio uso della lingua inglese - il mio italiano non è ancora all'altezza del compito. Imparerò!
I started playing D&D in 1978, when I was 7. Since then, there have been two years that I have not been actively playing, both of which involved a cross-country move and a year spent finding the local game community. As a teen, I played in various games including a Robotech/Macross hack of D&D written by the GM, a girl a year ahead of me in school.
In college, I ran a LOT of Ares Magica, including some home-brewed hacks, and met Vincent Baker and Emily Care Boss. I also played on the ElfQuest MUSH for 6 years, doing code work, running a feature character (Clearbrook), and other stuff.
I wrote the game 1001 Nights: a game of enticing stories, which was nominated for Indie Game of the Year 2006. I just returned from Lucca Comics and Games, where I was a guest of Narrativa. Currently, I am putting finishing touches on Psi-Run, a game about people with super powers and amnesia, which will be out by Christmas. I'm also working on a second English edition of 1001 Nights, and trying to trick the mechanics for Twist (a game about irony) into place.
When I'm not designing or playing or thinking about games, I am a textile conservationist at a local museum, co-chair of my local quilting guild, sex education teacher, learning Arabic and Italian, and the mother of three sons. I was an Emergency Medical Technician before having children, and I've studied Middle Eastern Dance for 10+ years. I also dabble in the Society for Creative Anachronism (emphasis on 1375 Germany), watching and feeding the wild songbirds in my yard, and the Occupy Together movement.
I like talking to people about any of the above! Ask, and I will try to answer.

Yes it's an RPG!!
It's called "Playing Doctor!", I played it when I was child!!
When the play start one of the player say this ritual phrase "Hi! I'm the doctor, but I forgot my coat!", than the ohter players, in chorus, say "But Doctor...where are your pants?".
the rest of the game proceeded with the doctor who convince other players to undress.
It was a very funny game.

So much talk of nudity! Where were all of you for my Sex on the Table panel at Lucca?? ;D
Seriously, though, casual public semi-nakedness is something that happens. With all the naked statues in Florence, the pulpit in Pisa, and the art everywhere, I'm surprised there wasn't more of it! There's a fine distinction between having less clothing than expected and having some intent to arouse.
There was some of female almost-semi-nudity in the cos-play crowd, but not as much male - I saw one guy cos-playing Edward from Twilight, with black jeans, pale blue body glitter, and a little pink around the eyes, and red lips. I was not impressed, but then, I'm not impressed by Twilight in general.
Paolo - Io parlo italiano molto male! Ma, io amo le lingue, e penso che sia solo cortesia per cercare di imparare un po 'della lingua del popolo gentile che mi ospita. Quindi io uso il mio dizionario italiano-inglese, alcuni nastri di apprendimento, e Google Translate pizzico ina. I miss hearing Italian voices all around me!

At Lucca the cosplayers are usually dressed, because usually it's cold and rain (this year was the first time in ages it wasn't so).
But at Rimini Comix (a comics and cartoons - no rpg - convention in Rimini, at less than 300 m from the beach at the end of July) the Italian cosplayers dress like this (http://www.comicsblog.it/galleria/big/cartoon-club-e-riminicomix-week-end-a-tutto-cosplay-fotogallery-di-sabato-23-luglio-parte-1/1) by day, go on stage like this (http://www.comicsblog.it/galleria/big/cartoon-club-e-riminicomix-week-end-a-tutto-cosplay-istantanee-di-domenica-24-luglio-parte-1/16) by night, and in general are like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_Q-KFZcRlY

Each time we're told that the panels are being recorded, then the actual records never come out, but we believe it the same the following time because we're so starved for playing it's easy to put our conscience at ease. ;)

You can open it in "Gioco Concreto" (that it's like "Actual Play"), since I think you'll give real examples from you experience.
By the way, a thread in a forum is a "discussione" (discussion); and "gioco d'azzardo" means a game where you gamble ;D

It depend on the kind of discussion you want to start. The sub-forum for talking about actual play experiences and reflections is "Gioco Concreto", but in that cathegory the posters can't use any sort of technical language (no Big Model terms for example) and must try to use common language. If you want instead to use technical language (or allow it) you can use "Sotto al cofano"
It's allowed to reply to a "Gioco Concreto" post with a new thread in "Sotto al cofano", though.
