France and Japan were the ones that came first to mind because I know some bilingual members of those communities. Ewen Cluney and Andy Kitkowski know the Japanese indie scene, and Ludovic Papais and Christoph Boeckle are members of the French scene. I'll see if I can get them to write up descriptions.

Excited to have more Italian chefs this year! Thanks to the trailblazers who participated in previous years and to the folks making this new experiment possible.
I've had some interactions with Chinese-speaking roleplaying communities, but it's a pretty different scene there and there aren't many original games being written in Chinese, unfortunately, at least as far as I know. Instead, volunteers translate English-language roleplaying materials (not indie games, mostly D&D supplements) into Chinese and trade them (illegally?) online.
But maybe we can help empower people to write their own games, slowly but surely! There's really no difference between any of us. We're all "just some dude," as Vincent likes to say! :)

Adesso ti consiglio di iscriverti all’RSS o via mail. Per ora non ci si iscrive ancora al Game Chef: dovrai aspettare il 7 aprile, quando si apriranno le iscrizioni. Poi Jonathan spiegherà tutto, come l’anno scorso.
