Da una conversazione su G+:
--- Citazione da: Andy Kitkowsky ---I playtested +Jonathan Tweet 's 13th Age tonight. Holy cow, this is actually a lot of what I wanted out of a fantasy OSR game: A lot of itches this scratches, far more than Dungeon World even. There is lots that speak right to me! But will have to withold judgment for a few more sessions. For now, I'll say that I really love my dark elf rogue*.
But for now, for those of you who are easing into the rules, here's a link to a discussion on tactical combat ranges within the 13th Age Ruleset, very informative :

* I don't think it breaks NDA (not that there really is one) in any forseeable way, but one of the backstabbingly surprisingly good emergent things about the game I thought was the concept of "Your Unique Thing". Basically your character is unique in the gaming world in one specific way, and the GM has to write that into the world facts (with approval, of course).
So if you say, "I'm the only halfling in the Empire's Army", it's the MFing truth, and the GM has to redefine the world a bit to accommodate (usually while going "Huh, that's fairly awesome!").
One of the other characters had "For some unknown reason, I can understand every language in the world".
Mine, after a recent reading of expanded universe Dune material (re Face Dancers), was "I was a rare dark elven birth that resulted in a transexual/double-gendered person". So while my character was "born male", ala a Face Dancer he can switch back and forth with ease to the point that s/he is comfortable as both sexes. Haven't used this too much yet, but am excited to. This little element? That level of player ownership, while small, really excites me!
